Its been a long hiatus for updating the blog site. We hope to start updating in a regular sessions for our followers. Foot Care Plus recently acquired a well established podiatric practice in Kansas City.
The location is conveniently located in south Kansas City at :
6724 Troost Ave, Suite 106 in Kansas City MO 64131
The office hours are from :
Monday afternoon
Whole day Tuesday and Thursday
Due to our presence in Kansas City area, we were able to serve more senior facilities.
Our Lees Summit office remains open, but with appointment only. Due to scheduling with both offices and senior living facilities, we can not be at both location at the same time.
However, due to one practitioner is overwhelmed, we will soon add another podiatrist to help relieve the high demand of podiatric service.

Fungus Infection
Did you know that fungus is everywhere? It tends to become more visible when you aged or have some health problems. Prevention is the most important thing you can do to help reduce the infection.
Wear clean dry socks daily (if you sweat a lot or gym active, then twice a day)
Use foot powders to help reduce moisture.
Don't poke your toes - can cause micro structure damage, allowing fungi to penetrate and cause infection.
Wear proper shoe gear (tight shoes will cause trauma to nail bed)

Happy New Year!
Happy New Year Everyone!
Foot Care Plus has changed office hours in Lee's Summit. The official office hours are as followed:
Fridays: 9am till 5pm
Walk-in during those office hours are welcomed.
However, if you need evening hours (example: 6pm) then call for an appointment.
Saturdays are appointments only.
We are in the works for accepting Medicaid MO sometimes in 2012 (don't hold your breath though).
If everything works out great, do expect to hear about this exciting news!
The winter months are here, but once it is over, we will be celebrating with everyone with a Spring Bash (sometimes in May 2012) to welcome our year old practice in Lee's Summit.
We got rave reviews from Foxwood Springs Senior Community (Raymore, MO) about us, so we are so please to continue providing podiatric service in a monthly basis.
We are very happy to be part of Lee's Summit community and hope to continue provide professional services to everyone.
We are also in the works of providing podiatric service to a senior community in the east (secret!!) that doesn't have a podiatrist for a while.

Happy Thanksgiving Week!

No weekend clinic hours
